Q1: What should I check before purchasing?
A: THE HOOD iPad Pencil supports selected iPad models released in 2018 or later that support stylus input. Before purchasing, please confirm that your iPad model is included in the compatibility list below. Please also refer to the compatibility information shown on the product detail page.

If your iPad model is not listed above, or if your iPad does not support stylus input, the product may not work properly. This product is not compatible with iPhone, Android tablets, Samsung tablets, Microsoft Surface, or other non-iPad devices.

Q2: How do I check my iPad model?
A: You can check your iPad model by going to Settings > General > About on your iPad. You may also check the model information printed on the back of your device. Before placing your order, please make sure your iPad model matches the compatibility list on the product page.

Q3: Is this iPad Pencil compatible with all iPad models?
A: No. This product is only compatible with selected iPad models that support stylus input. It is not guaranteed to work with all iPad models. If you are unsure about compatibility, please contact our customer service team before ordering.

Q4: Does this iPad Pencil support wireless charging?
A: No. THE HOOD iPad Pencil uses Type-C charging and does not support wireless charging. Even if it can magnetically attach to the side of selected iPad models, the magnetic attachment is for storage only and does not support magnetic wireless charging.

Q5: Can the iPad Pencil magnetically attach to the iPad?
A: It depends on the iPad model. Only iPad models with magnetic attachment support can hold the stylus on the side. The magnetic function is for attachment and storage only. It does not support magnetic wireless charging.

Q6: Do I need to pair it via Bluetooth before use?
A: In most cases, you can use it directly on a compatible iPad after turning it on, without complicated Bluetooth pairing. If it does not write properly, please check whether your iPad model is compatible, whether the stylus has enough battery, and whether another Apple Pencil or stylus is currently connected.

Q7: Does it support palm rejection?
A: Yes. This iPad Pencil supports palm rejection, allowing you to rest your hand naturally on the iPad screen while writing or drawing without needing to hover your hand. Actual performance may vary depending on the app, screen protector thickness, and writing angle.

Q8: Does it support tilt writing?
A: Yes. It supports tilt writing, allowing you to create different line thicknesses and stroke effects by changing the writing angle. It is suitable for daily writing, drawing, document annotation, and note-taking. Actual stroke performance may vary depending on app support.

Q9: Does it support pressure-sensitive input?
A: This product supports sensitive and stable pressure-style stroke input for smooth writing, line variation, and drawing. Actual pressure and stroke performance may vary depending on the drawing or note-taking app being used.

Q10: How do I charge it?
A: This iPad Pencil uses Type-C charging. Please use a suitable Type-C charging cable and a charger that meets safety standards. It does not charge wirelessly through the magnetic attachment area on the side of the iPad.

Q11: How long does it take to charge?
A: The product supports fast charging. Actual charging time may vary depending on the charger output, charging cable, remaining battery level, and usage environment.

Q12: How long does the battery last?
A: A full charge provides up to approximately 9 hours of use. Actual battery life may vary depending on usage mode, app, writing frequency, and battery level.

Q13: Does it have an auto sleep function?
A: Yes. The product has an intelligent auto sleep function. If there is no operation for around 5 minutes, it will automatically enter sleep mode to help save power and extend battery life.

Q14: How do I check the iPad Pencil status?
A: The product has indicator lights that show charging, low battery, in-use, and power-off status. For example, the indicator may blink while charging, stay on during use, and show a low-battery alert when needed. Please refer to the product instructions or product images for the exact light status.

Q15: Will there be lag or interruption when writing?
A: This iPad Pencil is designed for stable and responsive writing, accurately capturing daily writing and drawing strokes. Actual smoothness may be affected by the iPad model, app, system version, screen protector, and battery level.

Q16: Can it be used with a screen protector?
A: In most cases, it can be used with an iPad screen protector. However, if the screen protector is too thick, too rough, or made with special materials, it may affect writing feel, touch sensitivity, or stroke performance.

Q17: Can I use it for drawing and note-taking?
A: Yes. This product is suitable for daily note-taking, drawing, PDF annotation, browsing, study, and office use. App support and stroke performance may vary, so we recommend using it with apps that support stylus writing.

Q18: Can the pen tip be replaced?
A: If the product package or product page states that replacement tips are included, you can replace the tip when needed. If the tip becomes noticeably worn, deformed, or less smooth, we recommend replacing it to maintain a better writing experience.

Q19: Why is the stylus not writing properly?
A: Please first check whether your iPad model is compatible, whether the stylus is turned on, whether the battery is sufficient, and whether another Apple Pencil or stylus is connected. If the issue continues, restart your iPad, disconnect other stylus devices, or contact our customer service team for assistance.

Q20: Does the iPad Pencil come with a warranty?
A: THE HOOD iPad Pencil comes with a 6-month warranty. The warranty applies only to product quality or functional issues under normal use. It does not cover human damage, accidental damage, water damage, drop damage, unauthorized disassembly, misuse, normal wear and tear, natural battery aging, or issues caused by using a non-compliant charger.

Q21: Can I return or exchange it if it is not compatible with my iPad?
A: Please confirm your iPad model compatibility before placing your order. If the wrong model is selected by the customer, or if the customer’s iPad does not support the product, this is generally not considered a product quality issue. Returns and exchanges will be handled according to THE HOOD’s return and exchange policy. If the item arrives damaged, incorrect, or faulty, please contact customer service as soon as possible with your order number and photos or videos.
