Warranty & Exchange Policy

One-time free exchange service for eligible products purchased from The Hood official website and The Hood branded e-commerce platforms.

Overview

180 / 365-day warranty.

All products purchased from The Hood’s official website are covered by The Hood’s warranty service. Customers may apply for a one-time free exchange within 180 / 365 days from the order effective date if the product is damaged or has quality issues under normal use.

Eligibility

Warranty service applies to product damage or functional issues under normal use. Exchange requests must include proof of purchase.

  • Original order number required.
  • Proof of purchase required.
  • Clear photos of the product issue may be required.
  • Exchange is limited to the same style, pattern, color, and model.

Replacement

If the original product is discontinued, an equivalent replacement or alternative compensation will be provided.

  • One-time warranty replacement only.
  • Further assistance may be provided if the replacement is defective.
  • Products over 365 days from purchase date are no longer eligible.

Warranty service applies only to phone cases, tablet or iPad cases, and MacBook cases purchased from The Hood’s official website and other The Hood branded e-commerce platforms.

Electronic products.

Other electronic products, such as power banks and wireless chargers, are covered according to the warranty terms stated on the original product packaging.

Not Covered

  • Screen protectors and camera lens protectors.
  • Metal camera lens protectors.
  • AirPods cases.
  • Phone straps.
  • Apple Watch bands.
  • Other accessory products.
  • Sale, clearance, and promotional-priced items.
  • Made-to-order, DIY, and personalized items.

Excluded Damage

  • Fading of printed designs.
  • Natural wear and tear.
  • Product aging from normal use.
  • Intentional damage.
  • Scratches or defects caused by corrosive liquids.
  • Improper use.
  • Loss, theft, or accidental damage.
  • Employee discount purchases.

Replacement

Please provide your order number, proof of purchase, and photos of the product issue. After approval, the customer must return the item to the designated address. Return shipping cost is borne by the buyer.

Exchange shipping.

Economy shipping method.

If the product issue meets warranty conditions, The Hood will cover the exchange shipping cost and resend the product using an economy shipping method.
